College
Well since this is "college" english, I can talk about college stuff right?.. Well anyways, during our lovely snow days last week, I took a little trip down to visit a couple colleges in Indiana, and it finally kinda just hit me how thankful we should be for stariha. Like in all honesty we all complain about the work load that stariha gives us, and how things are "hard", but in comparison to the work we are going to be doing in college, its like a breeze! haha, well maybe not, but I am honestly really glad that Im starting to break into this rigorousness now instead of having some huge rude awakening at college.
Euthanasia ( Children )
This subject was difficult for me to discuss because a human life is important...each person is unique and loved by God. I just don't understand how cruel some families were to their own children. No one should give up their child's life because they don't want to pay for surgeries because their child won't be 'normal'. That's just inhumane in my eyes. What establishes 'normal'?The fact that the parents didn't love their child and let him/her (I honestly don't remember) starve to death is absolutely unacceptable! If their child didn't have Down Syndrome, would they have paid for the surgery then? Why would someone love a child without a disorder more than one that has one? This is insane...yes, it would be a little harder and frustrating to raise the child, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still a living person, just as you or me. I don't know exactly what to think, but I do know that this world just keeps getting more and more corrupt. Since when do parents get to legally kill their own children? I don't agree with that concept whatsoever but I will end on a concept I know to be true. Though that child's biological father may have abandoned them, his/her Heavenly Father never left their side. =)
I'm not eating anything...
Just swallowing my own saliva. =)
I should go brush my teeth now.
Sorry if this disturbed you.
facebook status gone wrong...?
this blog was sooooo ment for the day it actually happened but lets just say i didnt have time from my busy schedule to blog then (or i forgot?) but anyways... i was on facebook the other day and i saw bree v. status and if i remember correctly it said "outta my way...poles" im not exactly sure lemme go stalk her page for a second and see if im right, brb.
wooooooooow, i was way off... it was actually "next time pole, move." but back to why i started this blog, when i saw it i thought it said "next time prole, move." and i did like a double take cause proles are in 1984 and i thought "why the heck would she post something about 1984 on facebook when not many people would understand what shes saying" then i realized "wait bree isnt in college english, so how the fudge would she know about proles?!" so i read it again and again to find out... 1984 had taken over my mind.
*but id also like to add, after being disappointed in my for my mistake i do think that her comment would have made sense if it were about 1984.. nuff' said
Good Read
1984 was a good read but I'm ready to move on. Whats next? Johnny got his Gun? I think so. Sounds alright. I think we can all agree 1984 is soooo last marking period.

"Oh My God! I'm soo excited to discuss the end of the book! I think we will have some really very good discussions amongst all of us! Shout out to the Youth in Asia Group! You guys did a great job! I feel like I walked out of that classroom having so much understanding for those poor lost kids sent involuntary into Asia. So far my OpEd essay is too long. I know you guys won't believe me when I say this but...- It was really hard to do a full analysis in that few of words. You guys really underestimate me. Just like they did baby Cara before they sent her off to Asia."
Procrastination
My new philosphy on College English is going to be this ....
...
~ A Paragraph a Day Keeps Stariha AWAY!
...
Yeah I know I'm pretty origional :P .. not, but I think It's gonna be a good thing to attempt to do it will cut down on my procrastination and hopefully I will just start writing once I start. Because for me the worst part is the begining and the end. Starting the papper and citing it! But thankfully we dont have to cite this one yippee !!! :)

Oceanaia or not?
After finishing 1984 I've been thinking about some thing. First of all since O'Brien was one of the leaders of the Party, does that mean The Book doesn't exist? If that is true who's to say that London is really a Part of Oceania. And if that is true, then does Oceania even exist? Is it just a corrupt United Kingdom. All of these things in the book, the wars, the Brotherhood, could they all be fakes created by the Party? Government is a powerful thing and people are easily tricked.
