Op-Ed

So I found some "expert quotes" that agreed with what I am saying in my Op-Ed, but I don't know if I need to do a annotated bibliography... Does anyone know if we are supposed to do one in the Op-Ed? I think I won't and then if I need it later then I will go back and do it again sometime later. Its been a long day, lots of makeup homework. So I hope you like my paper Stariha! hehe

gay rights issue.

wellll i thought that the issue on friday was a reallllly good one i really enjoyed hearing everyones ideas, and also i feel like more people got involved in the actual discussion, but i feel bad for the group because i feel like everyone already kinda new the sides and facts and just right away got into the discussion and the group almost didnt finish their prezi but still it was good, i dont really wanna continue on with the discussion on here because people feel so strongly about it. but yeaah i love friday controversial issues. its sooooo fun :)

op-ed essay

i feeel so behind/lost kinda on the op-ed im trying to keep it narrow but its hard and also since i didnt have the whole thing done when we first turned in the rough draft i didnt get a full revised/edited esssay to help guide me in the right direction, this week im planning on meeting with mrs.stariha a lot to make it better.

johnny got his gun

after the first few chapters and the dicussion in class im really starting to like this book more, i think its really interesting how its not an actually combat type book like i thought it was gonna be and more a realization of the reality of war. and also the introduction and add on note really set a base for the novel, i really like the add on note how he was so calm in the intro and is completely disgraced with the american society and the facts and reality of war. i think this is going to be a really good book.

180 Movie

This is a short film of only 33 minutes that I believe everyone should watch.

It's about Abortion and the Holocaust. It's not boring at all, it's very interesting to hear everyone speak on their beliefs and such. So if you have time to watch this, I think it would be amazing.

Oh, and since I wasn't here for the Abortion discussion due to my wisdom teeth removal, consider this my contribution to the discussion??? hahaha....

what a twist

I can say I honestly loved the book johnny got his gun one of my favorite books....I read it in two good sittings and......well it had a lot of meaning to me personally I would love to go on but I fear I would blab something and ruin the book for someone
