What did everyone think of the test?

I think I did alright? But the INGSOC thing I could not figure out. I found a few places they mentioned it in the book but I still didn't understand it. Did anyone else have trouble with that question?

Spongebob vs 1984

So today I didn't make it to school because "I wasn't feeling well."
And during my relaxing, wonderful day off, I watched Spongebob.
As I was watching Spongebob, it showed him in a situation where he became stunned.
As a result of his unbelief, he shattered to pieces.
The next screen showed him put back together and talking to Patrick.
Can you say DOUBLETHINK!
I then started thinking about all of these cartoons that show that kind of stuff.
Kids and people doublethink all the time when they're watching TV!
Maybe I'm exaggerating a lil bit.
But when I saw that it just made me think of 1984.
Ugh.
Isn't that terrible?
College English and Brit Lit sneak into my thoughts outside of school.

A couple questions....

1. Is there a time limit to our senior portfolio? Cause I heard that Mrs. Glerum's class has a 7 minute time limit and I'm sorry but that is nooooot gonna happen with me...that's like crazy fast!

2. Do we have to dress up for our controversial issue presentations? or are we allowed to wear something..umm.. coordinating with our topic?

dear mrs. stariha and others,

i don't really have a lot of words after i read maddy's last post. but i just wanna let you know..i will be attending class. ha i've just been thinking about this all day. and i'm gonna skip first hour, go to the hospital, and then go to school. i mean why skip when everyone else is skipping. because then the teachers (other than ms. s) are going to wait until everyone is there to do their dumb lesson plan, and then you'll just be sitting in a class..bored out of your mind. so i'm gonna just skip a random day by myself. i don't wanna go sledding anyways. on my skip day..i wanna sleep..all day.

so, in short. i'll be there :D

Hypothetically if it was "Skip Day"

So if tomorrow happened to be a "skip day" for a certain class (hypothetically of course) we would have to turn in our essays anyways... via email or siblings or snail mail. And if a certain class were (hypothetically of course) to skip tomorrow students with sports would only have to be there after 3rd hour. And if a certain class of students were to hypothetically skip tomorrow they should all skip together, united (hypothetically of course). And if it were hypothetically "skip day" tomorrow you would all be a bunch of Big Bottom Good for Nothing Batch of Losers if you showed up to class. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart you No Fun Cry Baby Thumb Sucking Potato Eating Sons of Biscuits! All joking aside you're a Sorry Bunch of Cat Sitting Dateless Bugeyed Tomato Eating Ho-down Dancing Barn Raising City Slicking Plagued Mother Truckers if you even consider not partaking in a hypothetical (of course) skip day.

Nineteen Eighty Four

So I have been reading this here book quite a bit.
I mean for me its quite a bit.
I think I got a little over half way.
I have been stuck at the part where Winston starts reading the book thing from Mr. O Brien.
I can't get past reading that book.
Its taking me forever.
Its really boring.
I was pretty into before but once i got to that part it got boring.
I'm pushing through though.
I think I have two pages of it left.
Its taken me since last sunday to get through it.
:(
Someone please assure me it gets better after this part...
