so...how about that class discussion?
i know ms. stariha said this at the end of class...but where she said he used sex as a metaphor for the war because we've experienced lust and those kinds of things. which i think is definitely true. but umm yes...ha
Well think about it... in many of your freewrites you guys talked about how we are consumed with and surrounded by lust in our culture. It is an impulse that most of us can understand, whereas it is harder to identify "blind patriotism" and how that might also lead to shame... like in the case of Joe.
