We are only 5 chapters into the book but i thought that i'd post my thoughts about it. I feel that the book doesn't sugar coat what acctually happens in war. This results in a story that is very tragic and i feel that it is only going to get worst as it goes along
Yes Eric, you can definitely sense Trumbo's pacifist view.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Eric. It seems very depressing, and quite frankly, extremely confusing at times. I really hope I will be able to grasp the whole idea of the book so I will do good on our quizzes and such.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Chelsea! The book is kind of confusing and I can't quite figure out what needs to be pointed out and whats just background infromation. Hopefully with a few more class discussion it will be easier to understand!!
