I just got done reading the last chapter... what a crazy ending. I like how Orwell ended the book showing that the Party had complete control all along. A very good way to finish it. Oh, by the way good job Luke, Jake, and Tyler friday you guys did great.
I kind of figured that that's how the book was going to end once we started Book 3. It didn't seem like there was one man who could be the only exception to all that the Party wanted to accomplish.
ReplyDeleteI actually wrote a song about 1984 dealing with the concept of only one man... you made me think of it Taylor. I hate the ending (in a good way) to this book. It makes me so angry!
