Interviews

Dear Ms. Stariha,

It is now two weeks until our senior project is due and I still haven't conducted an interview. The problem is not from lack of trying, it's from lack of responses. No one seems willing to help me. The only response I have gotten decided not to reply in order to set up a time (even though I have sent 3 emails explaining that I need the interview as part of my second draft of my paper and I would like to set up the interview asap).
Also, I haven't heard of ANYONE in our class who has found someone to interview. I would like to propose that you make the interview optional. With a topic such as education, expert interviews would be easier to find due to the broader topic ranges. However, consumerism and our specific sub topics fall into a narrower spectrum of experts creating a difficult situation for us.  Also, our letters were graded on completion- NOT on the responses we received. I believe our interviews should be the same way. We have no control over how others choose to respond to our many pleas for help. This is why I believe we should be graded on our attempts to find an interview and NOT if an interview takes place.
I understand that an interview is extremely important to our paper and our research. Trust me, I would love some more information on how food dumping is a product of our consumerist society! However, at the moment, the prospect of finding a suitable and helpful interview is growing dim. Please consider this proposal.

prom

Alright so yesterday while running errands for prom and new york I kept slipping into a birttish accent, thank you stariaha. And now that I have fake nails on I need to find a way to type better because this is so weird and hard! But tonight is prom an im sure im going to get more crap about going to prom with douglas but whatever it will be fun anyhow, lol. Well my dates here byee.

FINALLY!

Finally! I woke up this morning and felt completely normal! That means prom tonight and NYC next week! I can't tell you the last time I missed 2 days of school from being sick.

Random

Their eyes are watching God is strangely difficult to read. The wording isn't hard but it feels like it rambles. I do like some of the characters...not all but some. But I did like the other two better, they had much more...depth into the story, and much more meaning...which is kind of ironic since all of them have the same theme hahaha

Life Lessons

Well anyways I realized what is wrong with my writings and am now attempting to improve on them...so we'll see how this goes.

Also, I'm really glad I took College English, I mean yeah it's a lot more stressful and requires a lot more dedication but overall it's going to pay off a lot more. In other classes you just learn useless facts but in here you actually can see how this information is going to be relevant later on in life.

Anyways how the blog title came about:

so today went pretty fast lol and then that got me thinking that holy crap tomorrw's prom already! and that we only have like 18 school days left before graduation:D agghhh! I can't wait lol
