College English is an advanced English course at Shelby High School. It is intended to prepare students for the rigor of collegiate study and to create innovative thinkers ready to enter the "real world" and make their place in it!

Graduating
I have to write a speech for graduation and want some ideas of what to incorporate into my paper. I wanted some general input from fellow seniors of what you guys feel is important. So if you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks :)
Ooh good luck. Just try to think of something that relates/describes our class and put tht in there. Also I like the whole idea of like "welcome to the end". But maybe talk about how it's not our ending but only our beginning. I don't know, just some ideas :)
Maybe you could play with the idea of "we are the product of our mistakes as well as our successes." Or "illusions are the cornerstone of civilization" from PWB? Maybe play with the idea of keeping our eyes open... and not being able to take a different view?
I like this idea as well...I had not thought about incorporating any of college english lol but some of the themes that we have talked about are very suiting!

Thanks I like this idea a lot. That has seemed to be our central theme this year so it would be good to go out that way! :)
