As I walked down the sidewalk on a hot summer day, I embraced the sweet rays of sun caressing my cheeks. Although the early afternoon air was refreshing, and the trees a beautiful sight, my eyes were focused on only the book that I held in my hands:1984.
:) You will find 1984's world less beautiful than your description... but it is a good book. Can't wait to get talking about it with you all.

ReplyDeleteYeah...1984 is kind of 'demented' in a way? I don't think demented is the right word but sheeesh...it is a bit disturbing in some ways. But on the bright side it was a nice summer day when I was reading the book outside on a walk. haha...
