Rough Draft
I started my Argument Essay and my intro is good I think and my supporting details are good, but after a couple paragraphs my rough draft is going down hill. Im having troubles and taking a break did not help. Is anyone else having troubles??
Did you outline at all Josie... If you did revisit it. Can you get more specific at all with your outline. If you didn't, then that is where I would start. Brainstorm and outline! Free writing always helps me when I get stuck. Brainstorm key words about your topic and then play some mellow music and free write about some of those words... you free writing will start to look like points and paragraphs and then you can integrate them into your draft. Happy writing.
Ms. Stariha, yes I did I went back and did a whole outline and played some music and its turned out way better than before I just went back on the notes you have gave us and it really did help, now I have to put them all together. Its a long process but I hope it turns out good.
Since it is our rough draft, I tried writing mine as more of a free write (to get rid of some of the stress I've been having) with ideas and information I already know along with information I have found through my research. I have discovered that when doing my rough draft, free writing first helps me a lot. When we are ready to revise and edit our papers, it won't be so hard since we have our base and a lot of information already written. Then all we will have to do is add, subtract, and change information we have already written. That's just what I've tried to help me out. Good luck. :)
