Acting =P (inspired by Stariha and Hannah)

I was walking over to Peer Tutor two days ago practicing my monologue out loud because I was all alone. "Comfort Forswear Me!!!" Then I hear a voice say "Practicing I see." Mrs. Shamber walked out of the Middle School while I was practicing. LOL I was like..."Yeah...he he he." So yeah, Acting causes lots of good stories. Also, I cannot stop talking in British Dialect. =P P.S. I hope I spelled the principle's name right. I LOVE The Bluest Eye!!! <3 (There, now it's related to this class too.)

Great...

Of course... The day we have a quiz, I just HAVE to get sick...
Hopefully I'll be better so I can take it tomorrow.

senior banquet...

well lets just say that i know who starihas favorites are now..
:p

Realllllly liking this multiple book thingy

It is so awesome to be able to relate the multiple books to one another.  They all have different ideas... but are all essentially the same thing... Pretty sweet if you ask me :D  Well.... I just thought you all would apprectiate that I am getting A LOT out of these book discussions.  You hear soooo many different ideas, so many different thoughts, it is just sooo cool.

This multiple book thing is sweet

I really enjoy having multiple books. It just helps me a lot.  It makes it so much easier to grasp what is in my book by comparing it to other books, just toooo cool.

Stariha is rubbing off

This doesnt have to do with college English but with acting lol. We are working on monologues with a British Dialect and tonight in the shower I was practicing mine and my sister comes in and asks me if I was talking on my phone in the shower! I told her what I was doing and she told me I was crazy and that I sounded like a complete idiot....the story of my life! I guess the moral of the story is unless you dont want to be viewed like Stariha do not practice monologues where others can see you when they are in dialect because they will laugh at you and you will be called crazy. Also we graduate a month from from today. AHHHHHHHHH

Awkward

So today we discussed the 'awkward' part of The Color Purple. Earlier on this week I talked to my dad about how I didn't think this book should have caused such controversy. He said he thought it was because people choose to focus on just a certain part and not the whole message. After discussing this part more in our lit groups, I just think it's amazing how authors can put details in books for certain reasons, and we can entirely miss them.
