My Personal Fail Blog

I took a look at my portfolio today and realized I put in some of my sisters plaques from the Math Tournament. Even though I apparently nailed 5th year math as a freshmen... I felt really dumb.

Hugh Laurie (a crowd favorite)

George Clooney (Oh he'll never grow out of being handsome)

Pierce Brosnan (uh-duh!)

Colin Firth (For the accent, talent, and face)

Robert Redford (I would marry Redford even if he was long dead and frozen)

These are my personal favorites. However, I fully respect your opinion because attractive old guys are all up to an individuals tastes!

Blog Hodge-Podge

So this is a mish mash of everything I want to blog.

Well, first I'm digging the couple days we had off reading assignments. Because I finally had time to finish a few of the books on my own personal reading list :) unfortunately, this makes is all the harder when I have to return to reading for class. Not because the books are not interesting, but because when I read for myself I skip and go back and skip and go back (not reading any descriptions that I don't care about.) But with school books I have to pay attention to all of that pucky. Ick.

Second, I worry more a bout this trimester's reading than the previous, because as Stariha already said, its a lot more personal. I can hear the calling of "close-minded" "intolerant" and "hypocrite" flying at me already. Don't worry, I'm prepared for it.

Poison Wood

So I can't talk about what is actually happening because if I say any spoilers then everyone is going to (Garrett?) jump on me like a cougar. Ha ha. But I really enjoy the book. Its so easy to read and you just fly across the pages. Dear Everyone, don't be discouraged by the first opening of the mother, it all begins to make more sense later on.
