Conversation With Mum

My mom and I were sitting in the hot tub this morning and we were talking about all of the controversial issues that we had last trimester. We started talking about abortion and neither one of us could think of a solution to the problem, what a conundrum. Next up was illegal immigration, we decided that it should be made easier for immagrants to enter the country. And then the subject changed to doctor phil and how his show has become similar to Jerry Springer's, isn't it interesting that Dr. Phil always shows the problem but doesn't usually show how he helped solve it? He presents America with this disturbing family situation, and then doesn't show how he helped them, if he did at all. Now its turned into shock value and ratings instead of helping people.

welll working on analzying this article is not so bad but i feel like i only have a few good points to work off of :/ and i wanted to start writing but hthe i forgot my help paper /information on it at school .. uhh whens it due?

Thank you Ms. Stariha for making our first daft due next Monday. Did I have time to work on it this weekend anyways?- yeah probably but I didn't really want to. I was far to busy procrastinating ridiculously idiotic scholarship forms to actually do school work.

PWB and Graduation

I haven't really posted much this week. I guess I've had other stuff on my mind and yeah...but I started Poisonwood Bible and I really like it. I find it interesting. =) So I'm excited and nervous now that we are all (except Matt...sorry. haha) on our last trimester of High School!

It's exciting...but also, at least for me, kind of sad because even though I don't talk to most of the kids in our whole Senior class, it's going to be really weird not seeing them after so many years.

I think it's not going to hit right away when I graduate...but after College starts I think I'm actually going to miss this.

So yeah....

Yay! and Sadness too.

So who's excited for Poisonwood bible!!! I am! But I'm really sad to see controversial issues go bye bye! Seriously... its really sad.

I loved all the papers we got today for this Essay. I feel like I can go into it feeling more confident and prepared. The only thing i'm worried about is summarizing. But anyhoo, I think we should have more worksheet/paper things like that for all our essays. Thanks :)
